The Small Group Lab is a new project founded by Peter Bowden dedicated to strengthening the social fabric of society through intentional small group community building. This effort is based on 20 years of work helping organizations developing small group networks, train and coach group facilitators, and more recently, integrate digital and face-to-face strategies.
After we finish 2018 testing we’ll be sharing small group resources that can be used in a wide range of contexts. As we release new Creative Commons small group resources, including session plans and templates, we’ll be encouraging others to create, adapt, and share their own resources. The goal is to empower people everywhere to use proven small group models to strengthen their communities.
We are facilitating model Small Group Lab community building events for corporations, nonprofits, congregations, and community organizations. We are using these events to test our models in a wide range of contexts as we work to refine and adapt our resources. Please contact Peter Bowden to discuss an event.
We’re focusing on offline groups (beta testing new programs) and email this year. Sign up to receive news: Get Small Group Lab updates.
